A varied trajectory

Professor Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez is a lawyer and journalist with an MBA in management. In addition, he has more than 300 courses and specializations in different areas of the IVY League and top-of-the-line business schools. He is also a contributor and advisor to many universities around the world, including Harvard Medical School. He is a fellow and member of several British and Irish Royal Societies, as well as Spanish and American academies. He has lectured and participated in events such as the World Economic Forum, in addition to publishing eleven books and more than seventy professional and scientific articles.

Many of his books have become a benchmark in microeconomics and banking with a special interest in developing the empowerment of small entrepreneurs and families. He is the president of Al-Khalifa Business School and a member of the advisory council of multinational companies, UHNWI and Family Offices.

He has contributed to the media at Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, MSNBC, Microsoft, Le Figaro or Le Monde and is a regular contributor to The Economic Times and The Times of India. He is a diplomat who works in African countries, is an advisor to senior United Nations officials and royal families around the world. He has also received two Doctor Honoris Causa degrees in the field.
