In advance of the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation in Buenos Aires, the “VI WORLD SUMMIT FOR PEACE” was held this September 20, 2024.
The opening began at 10:00 am with the parade of flags from participating countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Venezuela, Ecuador, Galapagos, Honduras, United States, India, Dubai, Israel, Spain, Costa Rica among others.
After the corresponding parade of flags, there was immediately the interpretation of the Argentine National Anthem by the peace missionary Haydée Dabusti.
Next, the National Deputy Missionary of Peace Lic. Carlos A. González D’Alessandro for the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, Dr. Alejandro D’Alessandro – President of the International Peace Action Movement, took the floor at the end of his presentation. The inter-religious prayer and blessing of the Proclamation for Peace Riego De Un Olivo composed by Graciela Páez Báez of External Affairs of the Assembly of Lis Bahá’i, San Juan / Argentina, Inderveer Kaur – immediately began.
Vice President and Granti (Priest) Gurdwara Guru Ram Das Ji BS as Argentina and Granti of Rosarios de la Frontera Salta, Swami Purnabodhananda – Vice President Ramakrishna Spiritual Home Ashrama Argentina, Iya Awale Elebuibon – President of the Africanist Religious Association, Ile Ti Oya-Ogun, Catalina Barreiro De Bara Iyaolorisa – Afro Amerindian Priestess, Lama Rinchen Kandro – Director of the Kagyu Tekchen Choling Buddhist Association, Claudia A. The event continued with the presentation of the Malvinas Continental Veterans and their companions, who were custodians of the Peace Proclamation to sign throughout the auditorium.
Followed by a typical Argentine folklore dance by the “Rincones De Mi Patria” dance school led by Gaucho Miguel Saldaña and Alicia Cortez.
The honorable visitors continued with the presentation of the international delegations, who were given the special award “PEACE MEDALLION” as special recognition for their outstanding work for the benefit of the common good and construction of La Paz, Ambassador Dr. Luis Suárez Hernández – Ambassador of the International Human Rights Peace Commission, Dayamy Rodriguez Aponte – Executive Director / Founder of Suarez Museum of Natural Science & History, Minton Eduardo Umaña – Ambassador of El Salvador in Israel, Ruben Cano Altez – Mayor of the Municipality of the Victoria / Lima, Peru, Lic. Hugo Arnaldo Mencos Chicas – Honorary Consul of El Salvador in Guatemala, Dr. Danna Borden Brown – Presidential Commissioner of the Environment of Honduras, Flor Viviana Naranjo Freire – District Director of the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion in the Galapagos Islands / Ecuador, Roberto Martell – Mayor of Medley, Miami / Florida, Bertha Haydee Diaz Garay – Doctorate in Accounting and Business Sciences.
Then there were several presentations, for example the presentation of the Peace Training School “La Casa Común” by the Rector Dr. Mirta Noemí Príano, as well as the presentation of “The Cathedral for Peace” by the Journalist Cari Macena, The Cultural Performance by Prof. Aldo Gomez Digiuseppe, Book “The Battle of the Mind” by Dr. Gabriel Flores Ciani of the Bioethics, Ecoethics and Environmental Commission, Book “Find Your Passion” by Dr. Graciela de Oto President of the Suma Foundation Verita, Book “The Human Mind” author Dr. Alejandro D’Alessandro by Dr. Mary Acosta.
With a flourish there was the presentation of the Gaucho Matías Sasale – Argentine Payador and the VI World Summit for Peace ended with the delivery of national and international recognitions and cultural exchanges to the following special guests.
Ambassador Luis Suárez Hernández stated that the event was a great success, emotional and very special due to the great international support and said very clearly that “THE UNION IS THE STRENGTH.” He also thanked all the Argentinians for being so kind and loving.
