About the Lab
The AKBS Lab for African Socio-Economic Development is established by the vision of AKBS Founder H.E. Prof. Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez.
After working for many years with African Governments and Institutions, he decides to create the AKBS Lab for African Socio-Economic Development in order to bring new opportunities and research about the potential of the different African countries and communities.
As a lawyer and educator Prof. Sir Manuel serves as Special Envoy to the General Direction of Madagascar Presidential Projects, and he is an official advisor of different African countries and United Nations high officials from Africa.
Between his main attributions in the African Industry, he is the Head of the International Development Committee of Pharmalagasy (the Pharmaceutical government company of Madagascar) and the Chief Financial Officer of Petromad, among others.
He spends most of his time trying to develop a bright future for Africa and its citizens in order to create a new prosperous era for the XXI Century.
