Associated University to ICFAI University and ICFAI Business School Group

Al-Khalifa Business School becomes  Associated of ICFAI University and ICFAI Business Schools, having the academic development of online degrees of ICFAI University, accredited by the Ministry of Education of India. 

This partnership between ICFAI University and Al Khalifa Business School was signed for the Development of business programs offered by the University and the Business School and providing the opportunity to do research for Ph. D/ research fellow and develop academic programs.

The purpose of this partnership is to develop academic and educational cooperation on the basis of equality and reciprocity and to promote relations and mutual understanding between both institutions. Exchange of information on research, teaching, learning materials and other literature relevant to their educational and training programs; Joint organization of seminars, conferences, workshops and short term continuing education programs on topics of mutual interest, while extending invitations to each other’s faculty to participate therein; Joint proposal and engagement in teaching or training programs. While extending invitations to each other’s faculty to participate and to promote interaction between ICFAI and AKBS in mutually beneficial areas.

This partnership considers ICFAI and AKBS are partner institutions for the development of the mentioned activities, considering AKBS by ICFAI University as Associated University.

ICFAI University: Established under Section 4(2) of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Sikkim Act 2004 (Act 9 of 2004) passed by Legislative Assembly of Sikkim. The University has been notified under Notification No. 9/LD/2004 Dated 15th October, 2004.

ICFAI Business School (IBS Group of Institutions): IBS Hyderabad, is a constituent of the Icfai Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), which was declared a deemed to be University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. 

IBS Dehradun is a constituent of the ICFAI University, Dehradun. ICFAI University,Dehradun is established through an Act of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand and is recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. 

IBS Jaipur is a constituent of the ICFAI University, Jaipur. The ICFAI University, Jaipur has been notified by the Government of Rajasthan (Act No. 20 of 2011). 

Associated University to Moscow International Institute of Informatics, Management, Economics and Law (MIIIMEL)

Al-Khalifa Business School (AKBS) and the Moscow International Institute of Informatics, Management, Economics and Law (MIIIMEL) signed on 27th November 2019 an agreement based in the Development of Bachelors, masters and doctorate business programs providing the opportunity to do research for Ph. D/ research fellow and develop academic programs.

MIIIMEL and AKBS, inspired by the extensive possibilities offered by cooperation, recognize the need to develop and nurture new partnerships, with the aim to promote research understanding and contribute to the pool of global knowledge. Considering their common interest in promoting mutual cooperation in the area of education and research, both parties, therefore, wish to expand the basis for friendship and cooperative educational exchange.

Based on this agreement MIIIMEL and AKBS are partner institutions for the development of the relevant academic areas, considering each institution as Associated University, based in the mutual recognition they sign.

Associated University to IIC University of Technology

The collaboration is established for the Development of Online and Executive Programs Providing the Opportunity to do Research and Develop Academic Programs.

The cooperation has been established in elements such as Develop common ideas through AKBS Networks and AKBS Innovation Venture Labs; Represent the interests of the partner institution in the respective regions; Joint Supervision of Doctoral Studies of IIC at AKBS; The development of AKBS business doctoral programs granted and accredited by IIC to make in partnership with IIC as well as individually by AKBS, but with the support of IIC; Management and Development Programs of Courses, Certifications, Executive Programs, Bachelors, Master’s and Doctorates, as well as to collaborate in the sale of the course materials, Grants equivalence to graduate and undergraduate offered by IIC for registration to the same programs in AKBS and vice versa, Appointing of Research Scholar, Exchange of faculty as research guides; between others.

IIC and AKBS are partner institutions considering each institution as Associated University based on the mutual recognition they sign.

IIC University of Technology is Accredited by the Royal Government of Cambodia as specified in Sub-Decree No. 127ANK.BK.

Sastra Angkor University is an Officially fully recognized and licensed as an education university by the Royal Government of Cambodia License No. 1496 SCN. Also is registered for accreditation under the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training and Ministry of Interior, Royal Government of Cambodia on September 18th, 2013.

The programs that Al-Khalifa Business School will run according to this accreditation are Degrees of Economics, Degrees of Agricultural Sciences, Degrees of Business Management, Degrees of Tourism and Hospitality, Degrees of Science and Technology, Degrees of Engineering and Architecture, Degrees of Arts, Humanities and Languages and Degrees of Law and Social Science.

 Partnership in Global Education with Sustainable Development Goals

Global universities, colleges and students leading delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals’ calls on the UN to better promote the role of higher and further education in all of the SDGs rather than only Goal 4 and on senior management in universities and colleges to look for innovative ways to increase staff and student capacity to address the SDGs.

Al-Khalifa Business School is a contributing institution to a Global Alliance of the world’s universities, colleges and sustainability networks which launched a report which is entitled: ‘Global universities, colleges and students leading delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals’., that was Presented at the UN High-Level Political Forum in New York.

The research calls on the UN to better promote the role of higher and further education in all of the SDGs rather than only Goal 4 and on senior management in universities and colleges to look for innovative ways to increase staff and student capacity to address the SDGs. 

In this field, we had created the Partnership program “Cross-Cultural and Cross-Functional Higher Education Project” Partnership for SDGs  Initiative Registered (Ref. #33195) in the database of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 

Partnership in Higher Education Sustainability Initiative of the United Nations

Al-Khalifa Business School joins partnership program of Sustainable Development Goals at the initiative Higher Education Sustainability Initiative of United Nations with the registered partnership Online Education project for 2030 – Partnerships for SDGs – initiative registered #34755 (reference #195819).

The project is based on giving free online studies to communities that can not allow spending resources in higher education, giving learning and experience to young people with commendable abilities for being promoted and achieve the results that they deserve.

Al-Khalifa Business School and the Global Commerce Forum – Energy Africa Conference become partners based on their common interest in promoting mutual cooperation in the area of education.

The Global Commerce Forum produces the Energy Africa Conference annually aimed at accomplishing dual objectives: Provide a platform for high-level decision-makers from academia, business, national governments and civil society to the dialog, exchange best practices, technologies and ideas on how Africa can develop low carbon, affordable, resilient and sustainable energy systems to reduce energy poverty and catalyze economic development; and Connecting firms from all over the world to business opportunities in the African energy sector.

In the spirit of international cooperation as well as in recognition of mutual educational interest and research aspirations of both institutions, EAC and AKBS agree to develop a broad range of possible educational programs.

Academic Agreement with Noble International University

Al-Khalifa Business School enters into partnership with Noble International University in 2021 to promote research understanding and contribute to the pool of global knowledge.
 
Noble International University (USA), the University of Environmental Peace, is accredited by ‘California University, FCE’ and in the process to achieve the ‘Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC)’.
 
Noble International University (NIU) was founded in the USA by professors of the University of Toronto. It has centers across the Americas and around the world. 
 

Academic Agreement with Lovely Professional University (LPU)

Al-Khalifa Business School and the Global Commerce Forum – Energy Africa Conference become partners based on their common interest in promoting mutual cooperation in the area of education.

Lovely Professional University (LPU), having its campus at Jalandhar-Delhi G.T. Road, Phagwara, Punjab, India-144411, is established through enactment by the Legislature of the State of Punjab and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) the statutory body of Government of India and offering various undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral programs.

The Scope of collaboration on academic and research activities in the exchange of academic information, materials and facilities; student’s exchange; faculty exchange; organising and participation in, conferences, workshops, etc; design and develop curriculum for individual and common educational programs in law, agribusiness, etc.
