Alan is a renowned international chef with experience in leading Michelin star restaurants and 5-star hotels, as well as a vast career in media, filming more than 1,250 TV food and travel shows to date for networks such as BBC, BBC Worldwide, ITV1,  Food Network to name but a few.

In 2015 Alan was invited by Downing Street and the British Prime Minister’s office to assist the “GREAT” campaign promoting gastronomy, supporting food producers and quality ingredients and delivering VIP functions for British Ambassadors in many parts of the world such as India, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Jamaica, Mexico, Latvia, Lithuania and France.

In addition to his direct culinary activities and within a global diplomatic role, Alan is very proactive in training local chef students at local catering colleges wherever he visits, delivering lunches, talks and master class demonstrations.

Alan delivers Celebrity cookery events working with Michelin starred chefs at 5-star hotels such as the Excelsior hotel Venice, Fairmont Hotel Kiev, Fairmont Hotel Lithuania, Fairmont hotel Monte Carlo as well as delivers an annual canapé event for the “100 Best Chefs of the World” in Monte Carlo and on private luxury yachts.

In his media role and activities, Alan performs cookery demonstrations around the world as well as delivers speeches , moderates at high-level summits and is also Master of ceremonies for a variety of International award ceremonies in countries such as China, Taiwan, Norway, Serbia, Belgium, Japan, Thailand, Korea, UK and Monte Carlo.

He is also very active in delivering interviews for TV, press and media in all the countries that he visits.
