Prof. Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez will be the Guest of Honour at AG Food Tech360 International Conference.
The AGFOODTECH conference is envisaged as recurring annual event to foster & encourage entrepreneurship in the broad area of Digital Agriculture. This one day conference will be Business oriented with networking opportunities amongst various stakeholders in the AGFOODTECH ecosystem.
The event would be hybrid in nature with global participation. The first in the series will kick start at Hyderabad International Convention Centre THub Phase II, Hyderabad on Dec 5th, 2022. Two major streams would be the program (four themes in parallel mode) which is a superset of which the Global Innovation Challenge will be a subset with attractive cash prizes etc.
The event will attract eminent reputable key note speakers, Promising start-up’s, VC’s, policy makers & top academia.
Late last year (2021), a small group of thought leaders got together and proposed an idea to design, plan, and host an “International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture”. An annual event in the PPP mode that is unique and one-of-a-kind.

The Innovation Challenge: Sustainable Digital Agriculture
The agribusiness sector’s activities are chiefly oriented to agriculture (farming), cattle-raising, and bio-energy. However, the business requires challenges, especially related to investments in infrastructure (logistics, machinery and others), climate change and crop pest attacks. The sector’s innovation trend moves towards transgenetics and genetic improvement in addition to the use of information technology applied to farming and cattle-raising, but the companies operating in the sector have also looked for new solutions connected to animal feeding, diagnosis, industrial raw materials, data intelligence platforms for decision-making and others.
Objective of Innovation Challenge is to promote the spirit of Innovation among entrepreneurs, agriculturists, students etc.
Eligibility criteria Any entrepreneur or student who applies to participate in the challenge and approved by the selection committee.
Selection process : Last date 30th November 2022.
No of tracks along with problem statements (for each vertical), Final demo date, etc.
Opportunities for Startups:
Technologies for increasing productivity considering the farming/forest/cattle-raising chain as a whole (e.g. logistics, industrial, commercial, food quality preservation and extension technologies)
