Last Thursday, September 21, a delegation travelled from Las Vegas, North America, and Mexico City to Madrid to participate in the unveiling ceremony of a bronze-scale statue at the Mexican embassy in Spain, an official ceremony presided over by ambassador Quirino Ordaz Coppel.

The delegation from the International Association of Press, Radio, and Television, as well as the World Hall of Fame established in the World Entertainment Capital, were welcomed at the embassy of the Dominican Republic in Spain by the distinguished ambassador Juan Bolivar Daz, who held a pleasant meeting with visitors from the American Continent.

One of the goals of the gathering was to fortify and enhance friendly ties.

One of the most noteworthy occasions occurred when Bolvar Daz got the coveted International Medal for Maximum Hispanic Pride and the Pin of Merit from the Walk of Stars in Las Vegas from Pablo Antonio Castro Zavala, head of the aforementioned organisations. the International Press, Radio, and Television Association, as well as the World Hall of Fame.

International figures such as Julio Iglesias, Luis Miguel, Los Tigres del Norte, José José, Cristian Castro, Paquita la del Barrio, Rafa Plaza, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and others have received significant decorations.

Tiburcio Zapata Fierros, direct grandson of Mexican hero Emiliano Zapata, attended the gathering and took the opportunity to thank Prof. Freire-Garabal on his distinguished career and contributions to the community. He had a great talk about relevant historical and cultural issues during the encounter.
