Prof. Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez was appointed by African Communities on behalf of his support to Education and Higher Education mostly by his contributions in private universities which interact worldwide with Africa, especially with his efforts and contributions since Al-Khalifa Business School.

In the representation of Al-Khalifa Business School, Prof. Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal picked the award in the companion of the Advisory Board Member Mohamed Khalid Al Ali in a private ceremony in Dubai on 24th November.

This special award called “Friend of Africa Award for Educational Development” was given by the Pan African Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (PALEDEC) represented by Dr. Babaola Omoniyi and Yvonne Achalu.

PALEDEC is a community-focused Leadership, social entrepreneurship and capacity development charitable institution founded as a global initiative to make Africa better by moving Africa from the consumption of international aid programs to a strong strategic economic and geopolitical partner by promoting trade, investment and socio-economic development in Africa.
