Amb. Cheick Keita has been appointed as Vice-Dean of International Relations on May 4th, 2020. He is a professional with 25 years of experience in business relations with Africa.

After training at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Conakry, Cheick Keita obtained a Masters in Public Law at the University of Paris l then a DESS in Public Business, option Law, Economics and Management.

He began his career at Crédit Agricole as a Key Account Auditor in the legal and financial affairs department. In 1991, he became Director of the Africa Division of the Spanish multinational OVIEDO (IMASA Group), then became Director of Africa Markets for BBVA Bank, the third-largest bank in Spain. In 1999, he was appointed to the OECD in Paris, an expert analyst in the Legal and Economic Department for the evaluation of international perspectives.

Cheick Keita is Founding President of CIDIGA (Chamber of Initiatives for the Development of Group Investments in Africa) whose mission is to produce socio-economic and political studies aimed at promoting investments by large groups on the African continent. This business circle brings together many African and international business leaders. It is also working to set up agreements between banks to facilitate investment in Africa.

President of Bridge of Innovation, an incubator with innovative start-ups operating in Africa and of the Open Business Africa business network, Cheick Keita is also active in Africa Synergies International, the leading pan-African network for Angels business.

Since 2018, he has been the ambassador for France of the IHRC (International Human Rights Commission), a UN agency and his special representative for Africa.

Cheick Keita is Vice President of the For Women In Africa initiative in charge of network development.
