Environmentalists from different parts of the world visited El Salvador to celebrate the International Day of the Latin American Environmentalist and Clean Air to raise awareness about the importance of caring for the environment.
The organizations in charge of carrying out this mission were the Suarez Museum of Natural Science & History of the United States, represented by Dayamy Rodriguez Aponte – Executive Director / Founder and Luis Suárez – President / Chief Curator, Aproaves of El Salvador represented by Jose Edgardo Kamen Mejia – President and Funema International of Colombia represented by Limber Antonio Renondo De Armas.
The satisfaction of these organizations is to continue to join international agreements to raise people’s awareness about caring for the environment, which means understanding that our actions have an impact on the planet and that we must protect it to guarantee its balance.
The event took place at Mi Finca Guadalupe in the Municipality of Panchimalco, San Salvador, a space where those in charge of the event and guests felt comfortable and grateful for the attention of the owners of the farm and their work team, for the environmentalists the environment natural area where trees were planted and a Green Iguana or Teyú (Iguana iguana) was released into its environment after being rehabilitated was perfect.
The planting of trees and the release of the Iguana was more emotional with the participation of Ximena Montserrat Alvarado Vargas, Mariah Celeste Gonzalez, Santiago Josue Montano Gonzalez, Juan José Montano Gonzalez, Sophia Zepeda
Marco Zepeda among other children demonstrated responsibility and environmental awareness.
Luis Suarez cultural ambassador of Machu Picchu and environmental ambassador of the Galapagos Islands expressed that it was a pride for him to be able to plant the national tree of El Salbador el Maquilíshuat on that special day, November 17, International Day of the Latin American Environmentalist.

Ambassador Dr. Suárez feels committed to El Salvador and assures to continue working for the country that he met thanks to the cordial invitation of Milton Eduardo Umaña Acevedo who at that time was Consul General of El Salvador in Miami and is now the Ambassador of El Salvador in Qatar.
Thanks to Milton Eduardo Umaña Acevedo Ambassador of Qatar Suárez Espresso who had the joy of shaking hands with the President of the Republic of El Salvador Nayib Bukele and meeting with the Ambassador of El Salvador in Washington DC Milena Mayorga among other personalities who promote and supported to El Salvador.
